- Hi Richard,
-
- >> By the way, one of the more irritating things about the lock up
- (apart from the fact that it happens at all) is that it doesn't
- clear on a reboot. To clear it I have to reboot with the version
- 4.7 driver in 'Expansion' - and then reboot again with 6.10. Is it
- likely that this will ever be fixed ?

- This is not a bug, it is a feature (or is meant to be one). The
- Oktagon does NOT reset the SCSI bus on a soft-reset, if
- Multi-Initiator mode is set to ON in OktagonPrefs.
- Reason: If you chain the Oktagon with an "alien" SCSI controller
- (I have it connected to an NCR SCSI controller in my PeeCee) and
- you reset the Amiga, you won't like your PeeCee to be disturbed.
- If you set MultiInitiator to OFF, it SHOULD reset the bus, if the
- Bus is not idle during boot up.
- So, set this to off, this should work (despite the fact that the
- bus hang should never occur, if all is well).
